Coach Sir on the Upcoming Season

Well, here we go for 2010!

It is exciting to have pro basketball in Edmonton for a 3rd season. Not only is the Energy back but we have a new home in the venerable Main Gym on the U of A campus. Great atmosphere, better access and parking, better seating and lower ticket prices!

I believe we will have our best team yet this season. I hope that people will take advantage of the opportunity to see us practice and play. Young players can learn a lot by coming to practice as well as watching our games.

We will be practicing at schools around the city to reach out to our youth. Watch for the school locations we will be at. If you have an interest in our coming to your school, call me at 780.819.4667 and I will try to make it happen.

Make sure you come to our opening series with the defending IBL champions Los Angeles Lightning. 6 ex-NBA players? You have to be there as it will be a great 3 game series on May 7, 8 & 9...
