The Energy have declared June - Basketball Month!The NBA finals. The Energy are on a roll - AND #1 IN THE LEAGUE! And basketball is HOT in Alberta! Why not declaure June "Basketbal Month?!" Basketball is the third most popular group activity in Alberta, behind soccer and hockey and ahead of baseball/softball, volleyball and curling. Thousands of youth and adults enjoy the game, many of whom had their first taste of B-Ball in elementary or junior high school. And its to these players, and the fans of the game, that we declare June Basketball Month!
